I’m a pretty dedicated Calgary Flames fan so it’s always a bit tough going up to Edmonton and seeing all those bumper stickers:)  It was really nice though to have a wedding in Edmonton.  I’m a big fan of the city and enjoy all the options up there for photography.  Kristy and Cam had their ceremony at the Hasting Lake Gardens and the their reception at the Edmonton Country Club.  Two new venues for me and I really enjoyed them both.  Onto the photos…

Cam and Kristy had written letters to each other to read before the ceremony and I was able to photograph them reading them individually in two separate locations.Kristy came down the aisle with her brother.A couple of uncles were kind enough to lend their classic cars for part of the portrait session.  Thanks guys.

Mike and his daughter.  I photographed his (and his wife Angie) wedding quite a few years ago and it was so awesome to see their growing family.
The next few photos need a bit of an explanation. This is Kristy’s uncle (?) and he was the MC.  He wanted to do something “memorable” so he came out halfway through the evening in a full kilt and then proceeded to show the head table that he kept to the kilt tradition!Apparently he had a large fake prosthetic installed.
