I have photographed a lot of weddings at Lake Louise, so it was really exciting to be high up on the other side of the valley for a change. This was my first wedding at the Lake Louise Ski Resort.  I have been skiing at Lake Louise for almost 30 years, and have eaten my fair share of fries and gravy in the main lodge (maybe a beer to two), so I was a bit skeptical when Lindsey and Louis told me they were having the reception there.   Wait until you see how Stephanie and her team from Lynn Fletcher Weddings transformed the room!  Lots of photos below.

The original plan was to have the ceremony half ways up the hill, but the weather was soggy so we had to move things indoors.  In the end the weather added a lot of mood to the photos and provided some pretty amazing and soft light.

They were considering riding in a covered gondola incase the rain started again but wow am I ever glad that they didn’t!  One of my favourite images of the day.
