My goal on a wedding day is to record real moments and create an honest documentation of who a couple is and why they love each other so much. I work hard to capture candid moments throughout the day. In my opinion, the importance of candid, unposed, real images tends to be underrated initially, but become more valuable with time.
Over the last decade, it has been my privilege to document hundreds of weddings. I can’t show them all, but hope that in viewing one feature weddings you will get some insight into my style, personality, sense of humour and the importance I place on recording the complete wedding day story…..
Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise Wedding, Banff National Park, AB
Yael and Eitan brought their entire family and all of their closest friends all the way out from Toronto to share their love of the Rockies. Photographing these two was a pleasure and they just seemed to be living their dream wedding.
The wedding plan was big, complex, and amazing. A two part traditional ceremony with a massive reception plan, tons of family and tempramental mountain weather, meant that an expert was going to be needed to plan and execute the day. Wisely these two hired Lynn Fletcher Weddings with Stephanie Schmit as their lead planner. Stephanie is a talented designer and a planner who can keep any group on schedule, which was essential on this day.
On to the photos…. a few from their engagement session in the Banff area to start.
