Mardi and Jake planned a summer wedding at the Banff Springs Hotel.  They wanted the whole event to be a relaxed gathering of their closest friends and family.  The day was perfect for an outdoor ceremony on the terrace followed by a glass of champagne on the lawn.  Guests then moved to the Crystal Ballroom for a standing reception with food stations, great speeches and lots of dancing and visiting.  The entire day flowed smoothly and looked amazing thanks to the talented Lynn Fletcher – Lynn Fletcher Weddings

To reduce stress on their schedule these two chose to do their portrait session before the ceremony and we started it off with a really fun reveal.  Early in their search for a Banff Wedding Photographer, we chatted and the topic of seeing each other before the wedding.  While it’s no longer something that would be considered “different” at a wedding it is almost a must do for couples who place a high priority on enjoying their day and being able to visit with guests during cocktails.  I appreciate that Lynn Fletcher encourages this as well.  Thank you Lynn!
