Amanda and Pete’s wedding was an intimate celebration with family and close friends. In her search for a “Banff Wedding Photographer,” Amanda came across a few of my weddings and reached out via email to tell me “you do an incredible job of capturing emotion and catching intimate but candid moments, nothing is awkwardly staged.”  I get a comment similar to this from most couples who hire me to be their wedding photographer and I love hearing this because to me it is the most important component of recording a wedding.  These two from Seattle had never been to Banff and as avid lovers of the outdoors (Pete works for the North Face), they thought a winter wedding at “The Castle” (Banff Springs Hotel) would be the ultimate setting to say their vows and celebrate the beginning of their marriage.  I couldn’t agree more!

Amanda and Pete wanted to see each other before the ceremony so I organized a reveal for them.  The Mom’s came to watch 🙂
